Mir's Cheap Graduation Announcement
Hello Family, just thought you might want to know:
I'm about to complete another degree, this time a B.S. in Psychology from the U of U. 3.97 GPA (Suma Cum Laude level) and all that sort of thing. (I've worked hard, durn it!)
The commencement is May 8, 9:00 a.m. in the Jon M. Huntsman Center and will be broadcast Saturday, May 9th, at 5:30pm on KUED, but I WON'T BE THERE. I have decided against attending the commencement because this is only a mid-point in my re-entrance to education and I didn't feel like doing the whole cap and gown thing just yet.
If all goes as planned I'll be taking a short break and then starting the clinical and health psychology doctoral program, and in about 5 years from now I'll be graduating again with my Ph.D. If I get to that point, I assure you that I SHALL attend commencement, and I shall throw a party for all of my family and friends!
*Cheers*
Miriam

Tummy Troubles
Adara has been going through a series of tests, including various scans, injections, biopsies and scopes to see what is causing her tummy so many troubles. Ever since she was dubbed "Typhoid Adara" as a 2-year-old who got the intestinal flu every two months, she's been having digestive problems.
The doctors (and we) are a little concerned because it's gotten worse lately. Her weight has dropped to 100 lbs and she can't seem to eat anything without feeling terrible.
Her specialist believes it might be gallbladder issues, even though earlier scans came out negative. We are awaiting results on her most recent tests. Hopefully they can find something fixable to fix!

Hello Family!
Welcome to our family blog (which replaces the Me Old Bamboo site). If you want to be able to post on this blog, you need an account on blogger.com. You also need to tell me which email you used to make an account.
This is sort of like an old-fashioned on-going family news letter. Feel free to share news and photos of your family!
For people new to family shared blogging, take a look at Dave's family blog to get an idea of how it is done:

Feel free to ask questions if you can't figure all this out. I hope you join in and play!
Love,
Miriam
